Position Overview

Outpatient Therapists at Lighthouse Therapy & Consulting provide compassionate, evidence-based therapy to individuals, couples, families, and/or groups. You’ll collaborate with a supportive clinical team, participate in supervision, and help clients move toward emotional wellness using interventions aligned with their goals and level of functioning.

This role is ideal for clinicians who value autonomy, strong clinical support, and a collaborative team environment.

What You'll Do

Provide Meaningful Clinical Care

  • Offer individual, family, and/or group therapy using evidence-based interventions tailored to client needs.

  • Build strong therapeutic rapport and complete comprehensive intake assessments.

  • Co-create individualized treatment plans that reflect client goals and clinical recommendations.

  • Support clients during moments of crisis, including assessment, stabilization, and referral when needed.

 

Partner With Our Team

  • Participate in regular supervision and team meetings.

  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and maintain high-quality services.

  • Provide consultations to potential clients within 24 hours and communicate clearly with internal staff.

Maintain Strong Clinical Documentation

  • Complete progress notes, assessments, and treatment plans within 24–48 hours.

  • Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality in alignment with HIPAA and state regulations.

  • Use your clinical training and ongoing education to help clients move toward meaningful change.

What We’re Looking For

  • LCSWA, LCSW, LCMHCA, LCMHC, LMFTA, LMFT, LCAS, or fully licensed clinician in North Carolina

  • Strong clinical judgment and commitment to evidence-based interventions

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to complete documentation promptly

  • Clinicians who value community, diversity, authenticity, and integrity

  • A desire to grow within a supportive and empowering practice
